I would have to say that today has definetly been a “gray” day! Out of all the clients I’ve helped, 90% of the colour direction has been various shades of gray…(sorry, couldn’t help myself). Benjamin Moore’s Revere Pewter HC-172, has to be the most popular pick by far. Perhpaps it’s because Revere Pewter can look gray, taupe, or even slightly tan depending on the furniture and lighting. A lighter shade on the colour spectrum, Revere Pewter is fairly even tonned and tends to work under most decorating conditions and will pop very well with most accent colours you throw its way.
As always though, before making a colour commitment, take a look at an actual colour sample, or better yet, a paint sample to be sure you’re getting the right colour for your home!
Anchored by black shelving and softer white furniture, here, Revere Pewter takes on a more distinct gray look.
Playing on the warmer tones, here, Revere Pewter takes on a much warmer feel.
